Take a few moments, as a family, and review the lesson. This week’s lesson was about Solomon and the gift of wisdom God gave him. Today we will take a closer look at what we learn about wisdom in the New Testament. Read James 1:5-6.
1. How wise do you think you are? Why?
2. Who is the smartest person you know? Who is the wisest person you know? What makes him or her smart or wise?
3. What does this passage say we should do if we feel we lack wisdom?
Say a prayer as a family asking God to give each of you His wisdom.

PROVERB HUNT
Take some time this week to dive into a few proverbs. Pick a chapter between chapter 10 and chapter 29. Read through the chapter and circle or highlight proverbs that speak most to you. You might even read them in The Message (use biblegateway.com).
Now pick out one of those proverbs and write it here and what it means to you. Write it out also on a notecard and keep it in a place (by your bed, on your bathroom mirror) where you will see it every day.
