Briefly review David’s story-especially God’s covenant with David (see 2 Samuel 7:16) then read Luke 1:30-33.
Covenant means an agreement, a contract, or a promise. The New Testament also talks about a New Covenant which God makes with each of us. This new covenant changes the way the we relate to God- through the call of the Spirit and Christ’s death and resurrection, we can have eternal life. We can be confident in God’s forgiveness of sins because we know that He is faithful to His covenants.

Jesus has taught us how to pray with the words of the Lord's Prayer.
Read Matthew 6:9-13 and pick one line from the Lord's Prayer and write it below in your own words. Take time each day to pray about this one particular aspect of the prayer and pay attention as to how this impacts you as you go about your day.
